ABOUT JOHN C. ARNESON
John Arneson has been practicing law since 1980 after graduating from Southern Methodist University Law School. He began his career with Lastelick, Anderson & Hilliard and remained with them until 1999, when he opened his own office. Throughout his work with Lastelick, Anderson & Hilliard, he practiced in many different areas including banking, litigation, creditor’s rights, real estate, probate and estate planning.
John Arneson became Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate law in 1996, and has practiced extensively in those areas since that time. In 2002, he joined the firm Smith, Underwood & Perkins, where he concentrated his practice on estate planning and probate and elder law. He has practiced in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton and Collin counties along with other counties throughout the North Texas area including Palo Pinto, Parker, Johnson and Ellis counties. In addition, he is frequently asked to serve as attorney by the courts for people who are involved in various probate and guardianship matters.
He believes that all persons who are confronted with estate planning or guardianship and elder law issues deserve careful help in dealing with these matters.
